Strategy Development  is a major focus of our approach to client engagement. Projects range from institutional transformation, revitalization, and renewal to crisis intervention, response and recovery. Our strategy work also includes issues involving accreditation such as achieving initial accreditation as-well-as responding to findings from review and recovering from being placed on probation.

Strategic Planning is another major feature of our practice utilizing a proprietary Curriculum-Centered Strategic Planning methodology that is Learner-Centered. Services range from new university and new campus and facility planning, to Strategic Plan development, Mission Review and strategy, goal and objective development. We encourage a rapid prototype approach that significantly shortens the development time and improves both understanding and satisfaction.

Academic Planning differentiates our expertise. Our services include Academic Plan Development, Curriculum Development, Curriculum Architecture Revitalization and Academic Assessment. Our resources include an academic program prototyping software system that enables modeling and analysis of revenue/cost of curriculum strategies. We also utilize an advanced proprietary curriculum architecture model, as-well-as an optimized program development approach.

Strategic Enrollment Management services range from SEM Program audits and review to Enrollment Strategy and Planning. MGDA uses a Strategic Position lens with an deep academic involvement in nurturing SEM capacity and effectiveness.  All of our Associates are seasoned professionals with five or more year’s experience. Our clients include countries from around the world, states and vendors from around the nation, as-well-as systems, institutions, and associations from all sectors.

Michael has served as Strategic Planning Administrator for the California State University, Los Angeles; Director of Research, Planning and Policy Analysis for the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities. He has taught Human Anatomy and Physiology, Strategic Planning Methods, Strategic Enrollment Management, and Organizational Transformation in Higher Education.

In addition, Michael has served as seminar faculty for the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, the American Association for Higher Education, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, the Public Telecommunications Financial Managers Association, National Public Radio, the Society for College and University Planning, CAUSE, and EDUCOM.

Michael is a member of Who’s Who Worldwide, Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the West, Who’s Who in American Education, and is one of only a handful from education listed in the Who’s Who Registry of Global Business Leaders.
